A Per Diem Pre Op RN needs a solid background in preoperative patient assessment, nursing fundamentals, and an active RN license, often with experience in surgical or ambulatory care settings. Familiarity with perioperative documentation systems, electronic health records, and pre-op protocols is typically required.
