Support mothers and newborns during a critical and meaningful time.

We’re seeking compassionate and skilled Postpartum Registered Nurses to provide high‐quality, family‐centered care to mothers and newborns following delivery. If you value patient education, clinical excellence, and supportive care, this role offers meaningful impact every shift.

Schedule

  • Per Diem
  • 12‐Hour Shifts
    • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Days)
    • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)

What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum patients following vaginal or cesarean deliveries
  • Assess maternal recovery, including vital signs, pain management, uterine tone, and incision care
  • Monitor newborn well‐being, feeding tolerance, and parent‐infant bonding
  • Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
  • Educate parents on newborn care, feeding, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions
  • Collaborate with obstetric providers, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Identify and respond promptly to maternal or newborn complications
  • Support a safe, calm, and family‐centered care environment
  • Document assessments, interventions, education, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

What We’re Looking For

  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Postpartum, Mother‐Baby, or L&D RN experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • NRP preferred
  • Strong maternal‐newborn assessment and patient‐education skills
  • Compassionate, family‐centered approach to care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple patient needs in a fast‐paced environment
