Job description

Per diem/on call; varies as scheduled.

Under the direction of a registered nurse and/or physician assists in the care and treatment of patients consistent with training and scope of certification and/or licensure. This individual is responsible to assist the labor team with deliveries, newborn care including feedback, hygiene and vital signs. Coordinates paper flow and clerical duties for Labor and Delivery, post-partum and newborn patients. This person serves as an adjunct to nursing care for a caseload of patients under the direction of and in collaboration with the Registered nurse. 

Required: Graduate of medical assistant program (preferred) or CNA training program required,

BLS, CNA, MA-R, MA-P or MA-C.

Preferred: Previous patient care tech experience required, 6 months Acute Care experience preferred, Bilingual Spanish preferred.


Wage range: ($20.88- $36.21)
