Job description

**As of September 1, 2021, all new hires will either need to have completed or be in progress of completing COVID-19 vaccination in order to start employment. Influenza vaccination will be required as part of the onboarding process for all new hires as of October 1, 2021. Staff are able to apply for an exemption to the vaccine requirement.**

Radiographer - per diem

Performs all routine radiogrpahic examinations to young adult-geriatric patients in a manner ensuring that studies produced are of appropriate technical quality; are produced in a timely manner consistent with departmental goals and objectives; are produced in a manner ensuring the minimum possible radiation exposure to the patient and are produced in a manner ensuring the delivery of appropriate general patient care.


Perform patient care functions i.e., verifies patient ID, greets the patient upon arrival, assess patient phyical ability, verify demographic and clinical information

Performs requested/required exams consistent with NEBH protocol

Consistently and accurately manuevers equipment

Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of human anatomical structure, physiological function and pathology

Practices proper aseptic or sterile technique during appropriate exams

Requirements:
Current ARRT Certification

Current state of Massachusetts Radiographer License

Current American Heart Association HeartSaver or BLS certification

1 to 2 years experience


Departmental expectation minimum of 2 shifts per month 
Participate in "call" , possible holidays, probable weekends
