Join Our Team as an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse - Make a Difference in Patient Care
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized nursing care in a fast-paced, innovative environment. As an IR RN, you will play a crucial part in supporting patients through complex procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. This position is ideal for professionals committed to excellence and eager to advance their career in interventional radiology.
Required Skills:
  • Valid New York State (NYS) RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in Emergency Room (ER) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • NIHSS certification at the time of submission
  • Must have completed at least 6 CEUs on Stroke-related topics prior to start
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Travel nursing experience
  • Additional certifications related to radiology or vascular access
  • Experience with interventional procedures and imaging modalities
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
  • Prior experience in interventional radiology, ER, or ICU settings
  • Familiarity with stroke care protocols and emergency response
Other Requirements:
  • No weekend or on-call responsibilities
  • Availability for Monday-Friday shifts, with alternating 8-hour or 10-hour days
  • Willingness to travel within the local area is advantageous
  • Ability to meet continuing education requirements prior to start date

This position offers competitive pay at $35 per hour, with a weekly per diem of $1246 based on 40 hours. (Local rates available for those within 60 miles of the facility)
