This role involves safely transporting the vehicle to designated sites, ensuring its readiness, and maintaining a secure environment for staff, patients, and medical supplies. Our Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) extends these services to young people through our Health Outreach to Teens (HOTT) program delivering compassionate, accessible care right where its needed most./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3pAs a MMU Driver, your responsibilities will include:/pulliOperate and transport the Mobile Medical Unit to and from clinical sites across NYC./liliEnsure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and in proper working condition before and after each use./liliConduct light maintenance checks and coordinate repairs as needed./liliProvide on-site security for medical equipment, supplies, and staff./liliMaintain accurate vehicle logs and assist with documentation as required./liliSupport setup and breakdown of the MMU during clinical sessions/li/ulpWork Schedule: Remain on call MondayFriday (12 PM8 PM) and weekends, with flexibility for occasional additional shifts./ph3Qualifications/h3ulliValid Drivers License is required./liliExcellent Driving Record is required./lili2 + years experience in commercial driving./liliEvening availability/schedule flexibility is a must./li/ulh3Desired Characteristics, Skills/h3ulliDemonstrated leadership and administrative/organizational skills./liliAbility to work with diverse populations./liliExcellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills./liliCommitment to the mission of Callen-Lorde Community Health Center./li/ul/div
