Role Overview
The Vice President of Construction oversees the development and delivery of T5's construction portfolio across the U.S., including projects executed in-house as a GC and with third-party partners. This role drives efficiency, quality, and profitability while leading high-performing teams to deliver ground-up, brownfield, and fit-out data center builds.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership across construction management and general contracting projects.
  • Oversee scope, schedule, budget, and quality for mission-critical builds.
  • Direct planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely, efficient delivery.
  • Recruit, train, and develop construction staff in partnership with HR and senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and risk management protocols.
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and executive-level reporting.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor, subcontractor, and client relationships.
  • Foster innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement across teams.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 8+ years of construction management experience.
  • Background in owners representation and/or design-build required.
  • General contracting and data center experience required.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
