Job description

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Per Diem CDL Driver to operate a 28-foot diesel truck for local and regional deliveries. This position is ideal for an experienced driver looking for flexible, as-needed work. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting materials, completing deliveries on time, and ensuring proper vehicle operation and maintenance checks.
Responsibilities
  • ย Safely operate a 28-foot diesel box truck for scheduled deliveries and pickupsย 
  • ย Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely and efficientlyย 
  • ย Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsย 
  • ย Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logsย 
  • ย Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policiesย 
  • ย Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customersย 
  • ย Report any vehicle maintenance or safety issues promptlyย 
  • ย Assist with basic loading and warehouse support when neededย 
Qualifications
