Job description

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Per Diem CDL Driver to operate a 28-foot diesel truck for local and regional deliveries. This position is ideal for an experienced driver looking for flexible, as-needed work. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting materials, completing deliveries on time, and ensuring proper vehicle operation and maintenance checks.
Responsibilities
  •  Safely operate a 28-foot diesel box truck for scheduled deliveries and pickups 
  •  Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely and efficiently 
  •  Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections 
  •  Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs 
  •  Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies 
  •  Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers 
  •  Report any vehicle maintenance or safety issues promptly 
  •  Assist with basic loading and warehouse support when needed 
Qualifications
  •  Valid CDL license (Class B preferred; Class A accepted) 
  •  Clean driving record and current DOT medical card 
  •  Previous commercial driving experience required 
  •  Experience operating diesel trucks and delivery vehicles 
  •  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with loading/unloading 
  •  Strong reliability, punctuality, and customer service skills
