Job description

Moravian Manor Communities, nestled in the charming town of Lititz, PA, is a respected not-for-profit senior living community with a 50-year tradition of serving older adults. We are currently seeking a Per Diem CDL Transportation Driver to join our dedicated team.
In this role, the CDL Transportation Driver operates vehicles in a safe and secure manner while transporting residents to various appointments, community functions, and entertainment events. This Per Diem opportunity offers a flexible schedule based on resident needs with the understanding that hours are dictated by the demands of scheduled appointments, destinations and events. A driver may work nights, weekends, and occasionally a holiday, and may be required to report to work on short notice.
What will I do in the role of a CDL Transportation Driver?
  • Transport residents to various appointments, community functions, and entertainment events.
  • Remain with residents until return to Moravian Manor Communities, unless resident is independent and does not require assistance.
  • Complete all necessary transportation paperwork including records of time, mileage, and other required information.
  • Provide courier services as requested.
  • Perform various vehicle maintenance items and housekeeping tasks as requested by supervisor.

What do I need in the role of CDL Transportation Driver?
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a current, valid CDL driver's license with a passenger endorsement in good standing.
  • Must be at least 25 years of age.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule according to resident needs.
  • Must maintain defensive driver training.
  • Possess or be willing to maintain current CPR certification.

Job Requirement will include:
  • Must be vaccinated for influenza (during flu season) unless approved for a medical or religious exemption
