Job description

Phlebotomy Technician Per Diem Phlebotomy The Phlebotomy Technician Per Diem will: Responsible for accurately registering outpatients, obtaining blood samples and performing EKG, demonstrating knowledge and skills as appropriate to the age and level of difficulty of the patient (Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics). Performs routine and assigned functions under the direction of the Phlebotomy Supervisor and/or designee. Requirements: Medical Terminology, ICD 10 coding and CRT data experience strongly preferred.

Strong customer service skills. Knowledge of third party payer, federal and state regulations desired. Highly motivated, enthusiastic team player.

Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) preferred. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
