Overview
The Manager, Employee Communications, Strategy & Transformation plays a critical role in shaping how PepsiCo's global Strategy & Transformation (S&T) organization connects, aligns, and engages associates around priorities that matter most. This role partners closely with senior leaders across the S&T function to deliver clear, compelling, and consistent communications that drive engagement, enable transformation, and reinforce One PepsiCo culture across a highly complex, global organization.
This role requires a strategic storyteller, trusted advisor, and strong systems thinker who can operate with agility, influence without authority, and translate enterprise strategy into meaningful employee experiences at scale.
Responsibilities
Global Employee Communications & Engagement
  • Lead end-to-end communications strategy and execution for Global S&T Quarterly All Hands, including content development, storytelling, leader messaging, event flow, and global amplification.
    • Partner with senior leadership to highlight strategic priorities, business updates, and achievement recognition.
    • Support rotation of global locations to enhance inclusion and engagement (e.g., Barcelona, Mexico, India).
  • Own and evolve Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer's Quarterly Updates on Viva Engage, replacing traditional earnings-style emails with engaging, visual-first leadership communication.
    • Drive strong engagement through carousel visuals, leadership tagging, and clear calls to action.

Leadership Communications Strategy & Alignment
  • Serve as a strategic communications partner across Chiefs of Staff, Communications Partners, Program Managers, and Change Managers within the S&T function.
  • Lead quarterly leadership communications check-ins to:
    • Align on priorities and key messages.
    • Surface emerging needs from leaders across the function.
    • Share best practices, templates, and scalable communication tools.
  • Enable Chiefs of Staff and Comms Partners to act as communication amplifiers and agents for their leaders through clear frameworks and materials.

Executive Visibility & Thoughtful Leadership Presence
  • Drive Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer's internal visibility through on-demand video messages supporting enterprise-wide initiatives and internal campaigns.
    • Manage streamlined filming and deployment approach, including talking point development and cross-functional coordination.
  • Lead S&T organizational announcements from Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, delivering timely, clear communications on org changes, leadership updates, and enterprise initiatives.
    • Provide local toolkits and amplification guidance to ensure global clarity and consistency.

Internal Amplification of External Events
  • Develop and execute employee-centered communications strategies supporting major external moments, such as:
    • CES
    • Dreamforce
    • World Economic Forum
  • Deliver fully integrated plans including leader messaging on Viva Engage, targeted leader emails, internal videos, and engagement opportunities that connect external visibility to internal pride and understanding.

Storytelling & Narrative Development
  • Continuously mine and develop stories that position S&T as a critical enabler of PepsiCo's broader transformation agenda.
  • Create compelling content across internal platforms, including:
    • S&T Pulse (internal function magazine)
    • MyPepsiCo
    • Viva Engage
  • Translate complex work into relatable stories that reinforce impact, purpose, and progress.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in employee communications, corporate communications, or change communications within a large, matrixed organization
  • Proven experience advising senior leaders and executives
  • Strong ability to translate enterprise strategy into compelling employee communications
  • Excellent written, verbal, and storytelling skills
  • Experience managing global communications across regions and cultures

Preferred
  • Experience supporting transformation, digital, or technology organizations
  • Familiarity with executive video production, internal social platforms (e.g., Viva Engage), and global All Hands
  • Experience working closely with Chiefs of Staff and change management teams
  • Background in Fortune 500 or similarly complex, global organizations
