Position Summary: The purpose of this role is to maintain and repair all vending, fountain, coffee, ice and refrigeration equipment to maximize customer satisfaction and sales. This role will also install, remove and relocate all vending, fountain, coffee, ice and refrigeration equipment to maximize customer satisfaction. Perform preventative and quality maintenance checks in addition to maintaining various records and reports. This position will also function in a relief role to the Delivery Customer Representatives and Territory Sales Managers by ordering, delivering, stocking, rotating, and merchandising products.

Essential Job Functions
  • Diagnose and repair vending, fountain, coffee, ice and refrigeration equipment
  • Install, remove and relocate vending, fountain and all other dispensing equipment
  • Account for product and cash from vending machines
  • Reman and/or prepare equipment for installation
  • Perform daily handheld close out procedures
  • Ensure vehicle has appropriate levels of parts inventory and restock as needed
  • Transport product and equipment to and from special events
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections
  • Must be available to work weekends and on-call when assigned
  • Function in a relief role for the Delivery Customer Representatives to support vacations and illnesses.
  • Function in a relief role to the Territory Sales Manager by ordering product for delivery to customer accounts
  • Drive truck to deliver product to customer account
  • Prepare, receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of product
  • Reconcile route each day and turn in all required DSD reports
  • Stack product according to customer specifications
  • Collect empty pallets and shells from the customer's backroom
  • Stock, rotate, and merchandise product as needed
  • Develop and maintain good customer relations
  • Maintain vehicle to company standards including cleanliness
  • Complete pre-and post-trip inspections
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A valid "Class A" commercial driver's license and the ability to operate in Interstate commerce
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Mechanical and refrigeration trade school training preferred
  • Diagnostic/troubleshooting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of tablets
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to & experience in moving large pieces of equipment with mechanical aides
  • A driving record that meets LinPepCo's Policy on Driver Records
  • Knowledge of inventory management and general merchandising
