Job Description

Position Title: PeopleSoft Developer

Location: Vienna, VA

Description: 

The PeopleSoft Developer is a developer in the technical delivery and support of the PeopleSoft Human Resources (Recruiting, Human Resources, Payroll, Time & Labor, Benefits and eApps) modules. The candidate must possess advanced experience working in least two modules in PeopleSoft HRMS Version 9.2. The candidate must possess advanced ability to create technical documentation: ability to develop technical system designs, develop technical program specifications, and develop technical testing requirements. 

Refine and decompose requirements to the level of detail required to initiate coding 

Review and accept software and interface design and requirements 

Implement code as specified in the design and ensures the implemented software fully satisfies functional and technical requirements 

Develop technical system design documents and communicate requirements to application development team members 

Participate in functional BRD and technical design reviews 

Required Skills: 

Minimum 7 years of progressive work experience focused on PeopleSoft application design, development, documentation, testing, and implementation in full life-cycle projects 

Minimum 7 years of PeopleSoft HRMS 9.1/9.2, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Component Interface, Application Engine, SQR's, Integration Technologies, SQL, Security, and PS/Query 

Strong functional and technical experience with Benefits Administration and core Human Resources 

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrate a customer centric focus, and the ability to work independently 

Must be highly organized 

Ability to apply analytical thinking to solve business problems using technology 

Desired Skills: 

Experience with PeopleSoft Workflow
