Job Summary:
1872 Consulting is a company seeking a PeopleSoft HCM Developer who is responsible for developing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining HR and payroll systems. The role involves troubleshooting production support issues, creating testing scenarios, and generating reports for clients.
Responsibilities:
• Works with business users, business analysts, functional analysts to understand business requirements, and make recommendations for approaches to development on new items or resolutions to issues.
• Prepares reports outlining the proposed systems or resolutions.
• Design, develop, test, analyze and implement PeopleSoft HCM solutions to meet business needs and objectives.
• Provides Level 3 support for PeopleSoft HCM, and work with vendors to resolve issues when necessary
• Ensures that programs and projects are designed to support the company's overall business objectives
• Ensures quality standards are met.
• Coordinates regular meetings with key user group to review work intake items, discuss priorities, and review status.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM development
• Must have experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 and/or 9.2
• Experience with the following modules would be a plus: Payroll for North America, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Talent Acquisition or Benefits Administration in a global environment is required.
• Experience with PeopleTools, ideally 8.54-8.58
• Experience with PeopleCode
• Experience with PeopleSoft Application Designer
• Experience with SQL
Preferred:
• Bachelor's Degree, ideally in a Computer Science or IT related field
• PeopleSoft Fluid experience
• Application Engines experience
• SQR experience
• BI Publish experience
