Job description

A career as an Operations Director within the National Bank Financial - Wealth Management team means acting as a leader in operations and organizational effectiveness. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the team's performance through your expertise in operations management, process optimization, and team development.

Your role
  • Develop and maintain an efficient administrative structure that supports team activities and delivers an exceptional client experience.
  • Optimize processes, workflows, and resource allocation to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
  • Coordinate day-to-day administrative and operational activities, including priorities, schedules, leave management, and team support requirements.
  • Support team members through onboarding, professional development, coaching, and performance management activities.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and serve as a key resource on people management practices and organizational initiatives.
  • Lead team engagement initiatives, client-facing events, and activities that enhance the team's visibility and brand presence.
  • Act as the liaison between the three branches (Brossard - Quartier Dix-30, Granby, and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu) to foster synergy, collaboration, and alignment across teams.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in people management, coaching, or operational leadership.

• Proven experience in operational management and process optimization.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage priorities, workloads, and resources in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of the financial services industry or wealth management sector.

• Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) or equivalent industry certification is considered an asset.
