ABOUT THE POSITION

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking orders, order verification, using RF scanner, and safely completing duties relating to materials handling. Candidates must be available to work a schedule from Monday 8:30am - 7:30pm, Tuesday - Thursday 10:30am - 7:30pm, and Friday 1:00pm - 7:30pm.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Reads orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
  • Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designed areas.
  • Marks materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
  • Weighs and counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Prepares parcels for mailing.
  • Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse. Practices safe work habits.
  • Completes other related duties as assigned, customary to department and role.

Required Education and Experience

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, customer orders, and packing and shipping instructions.
  • Able to accomplish simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Able to use a RF scanner and computer.
