Job description

Job Summary – PEGA Lead System Architect
- Lead multiple teams (developers, SMEs, stakeholders) to translate business requirements and process flows into fully functional PEGA applications.
- Must be PEGA Certified Lead System Architect (LSA) with at least 3 years post-certification experience and 7+ years post-SSA certification.
- Gather and document business/system requirements by meeting with end users and technical staff.
- Propose and design comprehensive solutions based on business and technical needs.
- Develop and engineer user interface, service tier, data components, infrastructure, and security for PEGA PRPC.
- Establish standards, repeatable processes, and reusable components for application development.
- Mentor and empower application development teams; provide technical guidance and promote best practices.
- Assist in project planning: timeline development, team composition, and resource allocation.
- Review technical deliverables to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Act as liaison between business architects, product owners, and technical teams; translate requirements.
- Participate in Agile software development (sprints, planning, requirements management).
- Lead client workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to capture software solution needs.
- Document requirements, use cases, test cases, and training materials.
- Hands-on configuration and deployment of PEGA solutions at enterprise level.
- Integrate best practices into current PEGA development procedures.
- Publish release notes and maintain product documentation.
- Support customer success teams and participate in change management.
- Provide mentorship to software development team members.
- Strong experience required with PEGA Smart BPM, PMF, DCO, use case design, DB2, SQL Server, and web application development.
- Minimum qualifications: 12+ years IT work experience, 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Hybrid work model: 2 days onsite in Trenton, NJ, 3 days remote.
- Other duties as assigned.
