Job description

Apex is seeking to add a motivated, full-time Pediatric Registered Dental Assistant to our long-tenured staff. As a Pediatric RDA at an Apex-supported practice, you will be responsible for ensuring that every patient has an Outstanding Patient Experience. You will work as part of a close-knit ‘work family’ and earn the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities in a dynamic, high growth healthcare services environment. You will have the opportunity to see the impact of your work as you delight your teammates by clearing roadblocks so that they can provide outstanding patient care. Requirements:

  • Greet patients with a smile and provide a positive patient experience during entire visit
  • Take digital x-rays, verify medical history and take vitals
  • Assist dentist with treatment procedures
  • Accurately document treatment completed at each visit as well as any future treatment needed
  • Discuss treatment options recommended by dentist and answer questions
  • Be comfortable with seeing children with special needs, uncooperative patients and very young children
  • Other duties as assigned
