Job description

An independent physician group serving Florida's Emerald Coast for over 75 years is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician for a full-time, permanent position in Crestview, Florida. This outpatient-only role involves working alongside four other pediatricians, managing a patient panel of 20-24 patients daily. The practice offers a supportive environment with nurse triage for calls and opportunities for additional compensation through teaching and NP supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an appointment schedule including 15-minute established patient visits and 30-minute new patient visits
  • Include walk-in pediatric patients in the daily schedule
  • Participate in rotating phone call only, with very light call volume managed by a nurse triage line
  • Be contacted only for urgent or severe issues during call
  • Opportunity to teach residents at the Fort Walton Beach location
  • Supervise nurse practitioners, if applicable

Compensation

  • Base salary: $200,000-$220,000 plus productivity incentives
  • Current pediatricians earn approximately $250,000-$350,000 annually
  • Additional compensation available for teaching responsibilities
  • NP supervision stipend available, if applicable
  • $1,000 per month per supervised NP
