Job description

Travel Pediatric Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekend Blocks
Location: New York
Pay: $2,200 – $2,500 per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks (option to extend)

Schedule:
12-hour rotating shifts (Days / Evenings / Nights)
Weekend block scheduling required
On-call, callback, and charge duties as needed


Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse to join a highly specialized Pediatric Cardiac Care Center. This unit provides advanced care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with complex congenital and acquired cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong pediatric cardiac experience and thrive in a high-acuity environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric cardiac ICU patients

  • Monitor and manage patients with complex congenital and acquired cardiac conditions

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

  • Respond to emergency situations and changes in patient condition

  • Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience

  • Active New York RN License (required)

  • Pediatric Cardiac Care experience required

  • Strong critical care and clinical assessment skills

  • Ability to work rotating shifts and weekend blocks


Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA required)

  • PALS (AHA required)
