Job description

Position Overview And Primary Duties And Responsibilities (essential Functions)

Red Peak Technical Services, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opening for a Warehouse Manager in the Lorton, VA area. The Warehouse Manager works closely with the Senior Warehouse Manager and supports the contract through daily oversight and management of warehouse staff and operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with government and company policies.

  • Work closely with DoS Warehouse Site Managers and Team Leaders daily to prioritize work requirements and maximize utilization of available Contractor work force.
  • Ensure the overall timeliness and quality of the products and services required under this contract.
  • Responsible for all warehouse functions appropriate to the facility.
  • Knowledgeable in all SL/W areas of Contractor / sub-contractor effort and shall be considered by SL as the source of information about not only how processing and other efforts shall be accomplished, but also why they are done a certain way.
  • Support cross-training of Contractor personnel to ensure task coverage and ability to quickly move personnel to other work areas within the warehouse to meet work surges or during period of austere staffing.
  • Closely monitor attendance, productivity, and professional behavior of assigned Contractor work force – initiate required corrective action.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Payrate: $130,000 to $140,000 Annually

Required Qualifications
  • At least five (5) years of related work experience including two (2) years of hands‑on experience managing large groups of staff in a warehouse or logistics related environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year institution plus five (5) years’ related experience, or Ten (10) years’ related experience.
  • If no bachelor’s degree, at least ten (10) years of related work experience, including five (5) years of hands‑on experience managing large groups of staff in a warehouse or logistics related environment.
  • Valid State Driver’s License
  • Active Top‑Secret Clearance
