Job Description

The Production Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Universal Television Entertainment Marketing Production Operations team. This position is responsible for coordinating operational initiatives, streamlining team workflows, supporting project execution, and ensuring day-to-day operations run efficiently. The Coordinator serves as a central resource for team processes, tools, onboarding, and cross-functional collaboration while helping to keep projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for team tools and systems, including but not limited to Airtable, Microsoft 365, Slack, Frame.io, and other operational platforms.
  • Provide operational and administrative support to team members and managers to improve workflow efficiency and team effectiveness.
  • Support the Operations Manager in the planning and execution of department initiatives and projects.
  • Coordinate and lead onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the team.
  • Maintain accurate project tracking and status reporting across multiple initiatives.
  • Manage awards submission processes, including timelines, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Monitor and maintain office and operational supplies as needed.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, creative partners, and production agencies.
  • Maintain team vendor, agency, and partner contact databases.
  • Coordinate and lead special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Train, mentor, and oversee interns and page program participants assigned to the team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, workflows, and team productivity.
  • Support the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of new tools and technologies that enhance team effectiveness.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in television marketing, production, operations, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Experience using collaboration and project management tools such as Airtable, Microsoft 365, Slack, or similar platforms.

Additional Requirements: 

  • This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
