The Teacher will help students learn and grow to become young women of heart, faith, courage, and excellence in the spirit of our sponsoring religious order, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.

Educators applying should have experience with teaching high school Social Studies courses. Desirable skill sets include being well-versed in various forms and uses of technology including the use of Google for Education tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Student Information Systems (SIS), and emerging learning technologies. Applicants must show a willingness to include and support diverse student learners; teach curriculum aligned with our OLP mission and the National Curriculum Standards for Social Studies (NCSS); instruct using pedagogy centered around girls' unique learning styles and how they learn best; and work closely with fellow Social Studies Teachers in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and as a Departmental team.
