As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in offering therapy and support to individuals navigating mental health challenges, with a special focus on suicide prevention.

About the Organization

At Peace Path Counseling, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of mental health care and suicide prevention. Our innovative telehealth platform provides accessible therapy and psychiatry services, equipping individuals with tools and resources to enhance their mental wellness. We are a collective of skilled healthcare professionals who are committed to creating an inclusive environment that meets our patients where they are and helps improve their quality of life. By partnering with health systems, educational institutions, primary care providers, and insurance companies, we ensure that our services are both efficient and affordable for our diverse patient population.

Work Environment

In this 100% remote role, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States. Our teletherapy platform enables you to deliver care to clients who prefer virtual sessions or have difficulties accessing traditional in-person therapy. You will engage with a variety of individuals, providing you with the chance to understand and address unique mental health concerns from the comfort of your own home while enjoying a flexible work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately understand clients' mental health needs and concerns, facilitating the development of individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide evidence-based individual therapy sessions tailored to the specific requirements of each client, utilizing modalities that may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic frameworks.

  • Collaborate with clients to establish achievable therapeutic goals, continuously monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

  • Offer teletherapy options for clients, ensuring that those with physical or geographical barriers have equal access to mental health support services.

  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards while utilizing modern documentation platforms.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions, keeping abreast of the latest research, therapeutic techniques, and best practices in social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a LCSW at Peace Path Counseling, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults confronting various mental health issues. You will particularly focus on clients at risk of suicide, using innovative tools such as in-app resources to provide supplemental support and progress tracking between sessions. By fostering a trusting environment, you will empower clients to express their challenges and work towards recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

  • Valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license, with no disciplinary actions or restrictions.

  • Proven skills in clinical social work practice, including the ability to assess, diagnose, and formulate comprehensive treatment plans.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds and cultures.

  • Proficiency in technology, including the ability to navigate telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in school settings or with the juvenile population is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with developing and implementing suicide prevention programs. Candidates with a background in crisis intervention and telehealth methodology will excel in this position.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise. In addition to financial compensation, benefits include flexible scheduling options that allow for a personalized work-life balance.
