Position Overview

Inner Peace Mental Health Services is actively seeking a committed and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload of clients, developing strong therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to track progress, address concerns, prepare for upcoming appointments and discuss potential discharge when appropriate.
  • Design, execute, and evaluate individualized person-centered treatment plans that align with each clientโ€™s unique goals and needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date clinical documentation and progress notes for every client interaction.
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments to gain insights into clients' histories and needs.
  • Provide weekly individual psychotherapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate healing.
  • Engage in individual supervision to enhance professional skills and ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, integrating multidisciplinary approaches to psychological care.
  • Maintain a growth-oriented mindset, actively seeking opportunities for professional development and self-improvement.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients span various demographics, including individuals of all ages, families, and children requiring mental health support. Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
  • A valid and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification that is current and active.
  • At least three years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting post-graduate.
  • Proficiency with technology, including experience using software such as RMS systems, Excel spreadsheets, and email communications.
  • Experience delivering psychotherapy services directly to individuals and families.
  • Ability and willingness to conduct intake assessments.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with diverse populations, including underserved communities.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methodologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of counseling techniques and evidence-based treatment modalities that foster therapeutic relationships.
