Job description

Position Title: Supply Chain Intern
Department: Supply Chain Management
Reports to: Supply Chain Manager
Wage range: $27


Job Summary:


The Supply Chain Intern will support our growing operations by assisting the supply chain team in core areas such as sourcing, supplier management, planning, and market research. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of a high-mix EMS supply chain and develop a foundational understanding of procurement strategies and planning processes.


Principal Accountabilities:


• Review manufacturer and manufacturer part numbers (MFG/MPN) on all open orders to ensure accuracy and alignment with current orderable components
• Evaluate capabilities of PCB and custom suppliers to support increased supply base flexibility
• Support the supply and demand planning process, including forecasting activities
• Request and review supplier documentation to support internal quality and compliance requirements
• Maintain quality records by tracking QMS and certification expiration dates on the Approved Supplier List
• Collect and compile market research on price trends, part availability, and alternative sources of supply
• Analyze monthly open order reports to assess volume of high-running parts and identify candidates for packaging improvements (e.g., tape and reel transitions)
• Assist with sourcing-related projects involving parts, services, or equipment
• Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Currently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools
  • Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong organizational abilities and a collaborative mindset
  • Interest in pursuing a career in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing
