The pay for PCAs can vary depending on factors such as location, employer, experience, and whether the position is privately or publicly funded. In the United States, the average hourly wage for a PCA ranges from $12 to $18 per hour, but it may be higher in some areas or through specific agencies. Some states also offer different rates for certain types of care or shifts, such as overnight or weekend work. It's important to check local listings or government resources for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
