As a PC Technician you will maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair individual PC workstations and peripheral equipment. You will be responsible for software systems setup for new PC installations. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with our patients, guests, other team members, and medical staff by striving for excellence in service and quality. For our team members, this is more than a career - it's a calling.
You will be responsible for:
  • Performing Systems Administration for all platforms to include creating user accounts; setting file and folder permissions, and troubleshooting hardware and software applications.
  • Assisting in the design and selection of PC systems to best utilize the IT infrastructure without duplication of data or equipment.
  • Troubleshooting technical problems regarding hardware and software in individual workstation applications or peripheral equipment.
  • Moving PC workstations and peripheral equipment including transport, setup, and dismantle of computer hardware systems, and installing and moving of telephone and data wiring.
  • Documenting, maintaining, upgrading, or replacing hardware and software systems.
  • Supporting and maintaining user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
  • Monitoring Hard Drive Capacities for Network systems and moving files as capacity dictates.
  • Maintaining records pertinent to the installation, inventory, maintenance and ongoing usage of the IT infrastructure.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of the IT infrastructure and how it relates to the users.
  • Identifying and isolating problems and suggesting suitable options for improvements.
  • Providing first level desktop support utilizing Helpdesk to initiate and complete trouble tickets.
  • Reporting changes of physical inventory of all computer equipment and software to Customer Service Team Leader.

Requirements
What you will need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's Degree in IS or related field (or experience equivalent) preferred.
  • 2 years' experience in PC operations.
