Pc Refresh Technician Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Location: Santa Clara, California (this role is 100% on-site)*You must have your own transportation + a valid drivers license**A health screen is required (cost will be covered by Apex)*

We are seeking a technician to support a robust Microsoft-based network environment. This role involves providing desktop and networking support for Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365. The position requires expertise in PC desktops, laptops, and tablets to perform various IT support duties under the guidance of IT representatives.

• Receive and manage computing assets, including moving equipment between facilities.
• Stage equipment for build and imaging activities.
• Execute equipment replacement and deployment plans.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PC hardware, software, and computer peripherals.
• Perform data transfer and recovery processes.
• Resolve basic network communication problems and provide e‑mail administration.
• Update asset management systems to reflect work performed.
• Prepare assets for disposition and perform other administrative duties as required.
• Travel to various local sites will be required.

Education: High School Diploma. Experience: 1-2 years of experience with PC hardware upgrades, support, installation, and deployment. Experience with direct client interaction is necessary.

• Experience with PC hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Knowledge of installing Windows operating systems, software, and applications.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with commands like IPConfig.

• Experience with Mac systems is a plus.

The dress code for this position is business casual. This role requires the ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly and, with assistance, up to 50 lbs as needed. The position involves 100% travel to local sites, potentially transporting equipment in a personal vehicle.
