About the Role
ARxIUM is seeking a Systems Test & PC Build Technician to support our manufacturing operations by building, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems used in our pharmacy automation solutions. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with computer hardware, diagnosing technical issues, and ensuring high-quality products are delivered to customers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build, image, configure, and deploy PCs and related hardware
  • Perform system, integration, and functional testing of ARxIUM products
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and system issues
  • Install and verify operating systems, drivers, and applications
  • Document test results, defects, repairs, and configuration changes
  • Diagnose and repair returned systems and components
  • Verify network connectivity and peripheral device functionality
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Support teams
  • Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with product validation and final acceptance testing
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Travel up to 10-20% as needed to support installations
What You Bring
  • Technical diploma, certificate, or equivalent hands-on experience in Computer Technology, IT, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in PC assembly, hardware/software troubleshooting, systems testing, or technical repair
  • Strong knowledge of PC hardware, Windows operating systems, and system imaging
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and peripheral integration
  • Ability to read technical documentation, schematics, and work instructions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work with computer equipment for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels
