The Opportunity: PC Administrator

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Personal Care Administrator to oversee the operational, financial, and regulatory compliance of our Personal Care Home unit. This is a critical leadership role where your organizational skills and compassionate leadership will directly impact the well-being of our residents and the success of our team.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

What You'll Be Doing (Your Superpowers):
  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the PCH, ensuring smooth, efficient, and resident-focused service delivery.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing Personal Care Homes in Pennsylvania, including Department of Human Services (DHS) requirements.

  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and mentor PCH staff (CNAs, Aides, etc.), fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Resident & Family Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and their families regarding services, care needs, and community life.

  • Financial Oversight: Manage the departmental budget, control expenses, and ensure efficient use of resources.

  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with the Nursing and Clinical teams to ensure appropriate resident assessments, service planning, and quality care standards are met.

What You'll Need (The Essentials):
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a Personal Care Home, Assisted Living, or similar senior care setting.

  • Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania DHS regulations for Personal Care Homes is highly preferred.

  • PCH Administrator certificate is REQUIRED

  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to resident and staff interaction.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field preferred (relevant experience may substitute).
