We're seeking a Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at AscellaHealth, where your expertise will directly contribute to improving health outcomes for patients with complex, chronic conditions and rare diseases. This role offers the opportunity to develop and maintain data products that support both business operations and decision-making while working alongside industry leaders in specialty pharmaceutical services.

This role designs and builds data transformation workflows, analytical datasets, and reporting solutions that enable reliable, scalable analytics across the organization. The Data Analyst operates across the transformation and analytical serving layers, ensuring data is accurate, structured, and consumable for both system integration and end-user reporting. This role partners with senior analysts and business stakeholders to translate business needs into data products that drive insight and performance.

This role is based at AscellaHealth's headquarters in Berwyn, PA, and will be a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office after an initial training period.

Data Transformation & Pipeline Development

  • Design, build, and maintain data workflows using tools such as Alteryx and SQL to extract, transform, enrich, and validate data from multiple sources.
  • Develop curated datasets that serve as reliable inputs for both operational systems and analytical reporting.
  • Implement data quality checks and validation logic within workflows to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Optimize data workflows for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Analytical Data Products

  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs using tools such as Power BI.
  • Translate business requirements into structured reporting solutions and KPIs.
  • Ensure analytical outputs are consistent, accurate, and aligned with defined business logic.

Operational Data Products

  • Develop and support data outputs that feed operational systems (e.g., adjudication platforms, CRM systems).
  • Ensure data structures, formats, and delivery mechanisms meet system requirements.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to align data outputs with operational workflows.

Data Analysis & Insight Support

  • Perform structured analyses on claims, patient, and operational datasets.
  • Identify trends, variances, and key performance drivers.
  • Support Senior Data Analysts in developing deeper diagnostic insights and recommendations.

Data Quality & Validation

  • Validate outputs from transformation workflows and ensure alignment with business rules.
  • Investigate discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
  • Partner with Specialists to ensure upstream execution and data quality standards are met.

Operational Support & Coverage

  • Provide backup support for recurring analytics operations, including workflow execution and report refreshes, during periods of high volume or resource constraints.
  • Assist with data validation and quality checks on outputs as needed.
  • Support testing and validation of system-related data processes in coordination with Specialists and the Business Solutions team.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary; remain flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Analytics, Business, Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field of study)
  • 2 or more years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or analytics is required
