Job description

Job Overview

The Payroll Processor will work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure payroll is accurate, complete, and processed on time. The main responsibility of this role is reviewing and closing employee timecards and assisting with all standard payroll processing duties.

Main Responsibilities

Review employee timecards for accuracy and completeness.

Identify and correct missing punches, incorrect hours, and timekeeping discrepancies.

Work with managers to resolve timecard issues before payroll deadlines.

Ensure all timecards are approved and closed on time.

Assist with processing payroll each pay period.

Review PTO, sick leave, holiday pay, overtime, and other payroll entries.

Process approved payroll corrections and adjustments.

Assist with new hires, terminations, pay changes, deductions, bonuses, and commissions.

Review payroll reports for errors or unusual activity.

Respond to payroll questions from employees and managers.

Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.

Assist the Payroll Manager with payroll audits, reporting, and other payroll-related duties.

Maintain confidentiality of all employee and payroll information.

Qualifications

Payroll, accounting, or administrative experience preferred.

Experience with Paychex, ADP, or similar payroll systems preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good organizational and communication skills.

Ability to meet strict payroll deadlines.

Basic Microsoft Excel skills.

Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position located in Fort Worth, Texas 76140. The Payroll Processor will work on-site during regular business hours and will be expected to maintain consistent attendance and availability to support payroll deadlines and daily payroll operations.
