Complete and process new hires and/or rehires, checklists, deductions, payroll changes, etc. for company and subsidiaries. Assist other managers with corrections and questions dealing with payroll. Manage the addition and/or changes of employees into the Scheduler module of Kronos. Process, post and mail all tax records to all employees and government entities as required. Complete 401(k) contributions, tax withholdings and various related processes related to payroll. Point of contact who will handle FMLA and Leave of Absence requests. Process and respond to all unemployment claims and other payroll related inquiries from government entities. Assist employees with any payroll questions or issues including employment verifications, pay questions, pay records, or other requests as needed. Assist with certain benefits duties.
Requirements
Experience processing payroll for a mid-sized or large company.
3 - 5 years of experience with payroll processing software systems is required.
Experience with UKG (Kronos) preferred.
