NOTS Logistics is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Payroll & A/P Coordinator to join our growing Finance team. This role will serve as a key contributor with primary responsibility for payroll processing and payroll administration while also supporting broader accounting and finance initiatives. We are looking for someone with a strong payroll foundation, a high level of accuracy, and a mindset focused on ownership and follow-through. Payroll is a function where details matter, and success in this role requires someone who takes pride in getting things right. As NOTS continues to grow, this role provides opportunities to expand into additional accounting and finance responsibilities based on experience, strengths, and business needs.

Payroll responsibilities
  • Process payroll accurately and timely for hourly and salaried employees across multiple locations
  • Review timecards, employee changes, pay adjustments, deductions, and payroll-related data
  • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies prior to payroll processing
  • Partner with Operations, HR, and leadership teams to ensure payroll information is complete and accurate
  • Support payroll audits, reporting, and record maintenance
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with payroll practices and policies
  • Ability to work with Operations and leadership teams in a fast-paced environment and follow issues through resolution
Additional Finanace & Account Support
Based on experience and business need, responsibilities may also include:
  • Assist with account reconciliations and financial record maintenance
  • Process invoices, billing, and accounts payable/receivable activities
  • Support audits and provide documentation as needed
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Provide administrative and accounting support for special projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and leadership teams to support business objectives and resolve accounting-related issues
Qualification & Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related experience
  • Previous payroll processing, finance, or accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience processing payroll in ADP
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP Workforce Manager
  • Multi-state payroll experience
  • Accounting or finance experience beyond payroll
  • Experience supporting operations, warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics environments
