Our HR Consultants partner with organizations to deliver compliant, practical, and business-focused HR support. Consultants serve as trusted advisors to leadership teams while executing day-to-day HR operations that strengthen compliance and organizational performance. This position offers a flexible hybrid structure, combining remote work with onsite client support as needed.

Key Responsibilities

HR Consulting Services

  • Advise leadership on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and compliance matters
  • Draft, update, and implement employee handbooks, policies, and HR documentation
  • Support full-cycle recruiting including job postings, screening, interviewing coordination, and onboarding
  • Manage transactional HR processes including leave administration (FMLA, state leave, ADA coordination), employee status changes, and personnel documentation
  • Lead and support workplace investigations and progressive discipline processes, including documentation, coaching, and termination guidance
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Assist clients in developing efficient HR workflows and scalable infrastructure

Payroll Support

  • Assist with payroll processing for assigned clients in coordination with internal payroll resources
  • Help ensure payroll information is submitted accurately and on schedule
  • Partner with payroll support to address employee questions and resolve routine discrepancies
  • Maintain organized payroll-related records and documentation
  • Handle compensation information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Manager experience required
  • Experience supporting or processing payroll
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
  • Experience supporting multiple business units (can be within the same organization)
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred, or ability to obtain within 1 year
