Job description

Payroll and Benefits Coordinator

Qualifications:   

  • Associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, business administration, human resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of successful experience in payroll, benefits administration, accounting, or a related field. School district, governmental, or public-sector payroll experience preferred.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple recurring processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business office and administrative staff.
  • Experience using iVisions software preferred.      

Job Goal:  To administer accurate, timely, and compliant payroll and employee-benefit processes for all District employees. The Payroll and Benefits Coordinator maintains payroll and benefit records, completes required tax and retirement reporting, supports employees with payroll and benefit questions, and assists the Chief School Business Official in maintaining effective internal controls and continuity of business-office operations.

Conditions of Employment: Full time, 12-months, 7.75 hours per day. Immediately available.
Salary:  Minimum $65,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
