Job description

The Risk Operations team is seeking a highly skilled and engaged individual with a passion for process excellence, drive for continuous improvement, and background in the finance services, audit, or consulting industry. The ideal candidate will be able to engage across multiple business units while managing projects that identify the most important and critical work, supporting our Payments, Payroll, BillPay, Banking, and Capital Lending products. Maintaining relationships while executing as an individual contributor for business stakeholders is key to success in this role. As a Risk Analyst 2, you will be responsible for analyzing the accurate and timely processing of Risk Operations Analyst Quality Assurance work, participating in control/audit evaluations, creating action plans to ensure ongoing monitoring of high risk processes, and owning cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
  • This is an exciting and challenging position that requires an operational mindset and experience working across multiple areas of an organization while delivering outstanding results. It also requires a deep commitment to analyzing data, clearly articulating and presenting information as well as communicating effectively with operations analysts and leaders.
  • Quickly, accurately and effectively communicate quality feedback by leading op mechs and leveraging advanced business knowledge of the fintech industry and our Risk Operations functional areas
  • Contribute to improvements in processes by identifying key needs or gaps, leveraging data to support your findings
  • Deliver for customers by working with cross functional business units and functional teams to drive QA reviews, develop control-finding remediation plans, and ensure regulatory compliance for the Money Risk Operations team
  • Participate in operating mechanisms among stakeholders to prioritize needs, communicate effectively, and establish partnering relationships to drive effective execution.
  • Present your findings, ideas, and projects to a broad array of leaders including those in tactical and strategic roles
  • Champion the customer and employee experience across our end-to-end system
  • Use sound judgment to identify and escalate conflicting priorities or trends as necessary
  • Strategically leverage AI to create efficiencies

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in Fintech, Banking, Quality Assurance, Audit, Accounting or related area
  • Proven ability to proactively identify technology and AI options and drive the decision-making process to agree on a solution that balances customer experience, business objectives and technical realities.
  • Ability to develop, acquire, deploy and maintain business infrastructure systems. Proactively assess and plan for systems to support future growth and develop clear business cases.
  • Data driven with experience using methodologies, metrics, and analysis to assess and improve experiences.
  • Experience driving results through innovation and testing hypotheses through experimentation & continuous improvement.
  • Have an end-to-end mindset and be a systemic thinker who works across boundaries.
  • Communicates equally well with leaders, front-line employees and cross-functional groups.
  • Sufficient understanding of process excellence methodology to drive best practices and process improvements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • MBA, CPA, or other professional designation preferred
