The Business Cards & Payments (BC&P) organization is committed to fueling the courageous entrepreneurial spirit that's at the heart of America's business owners. We offer financial products and services for small business owners through corporate clients, with the goal to pave the path for them to do more business. We've built an organization that is focused on listening to and learning from the millions of customers we serve to make sure our products, services, and experiences work as hard as they do. Within BC&P, the AI Strategy & Enablement team is laying the foundation for us to become an AI-native organization.

The Role:

We are seeking a Manager-level Product Manager to execute our technical AI vision. Reporting directly to the Head of AI Strategy & Enablement, you will help scale AI use cases, data infrastructure, development velocity, and knowledge governance across the organization.

As a Manager, Product Management on this team, you will:

  • Design Agentic Workflows & Written Evals: Architect complex agentic workflows and conduct rigorous written evaluations of LLM models and prompts to ensure high-quality, reliable outputs.

  • Possess Outcome-Driven Autonomy: Translate strategic outcomes into technical architecture and drive them to completion independently.

  • Practice Extreme Ownership: Anticipate roadblocks, rigorously manage dependencies, and maintain a bias for action.

  • Apply Systems-Level Thinking: Build scalable, agentic-first architectures for a future-proofed data layer.

  • Maintain Cutting-Edge AI Proficiency: Continuously research and experiment with evolving AI/LLM models and frameworks.

  • Execute with Strategic Pragmatism: Connect AI advancements directly to business goals with clear technical ROI.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

    • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

    • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Manager, Product Management


New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100 for Manager, Product Management


Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000 for Manager, Product Management









Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
