Job description

About BlytzPay
BlytzPay is building the next generation of payments and collections infrastructure.
We help businesses get paid through the channels consumers actually respond to - combining payments, messaging, engagement, and automation into a unified platform. From text-to-pay and flexible repayment experiences to AI-powered collections workflows, BlytzPay helps businesses modernize how they recover revenue and engage customers.
We are redefining how businesses manage debt repayment, payment engagement, and customer communication.
We are not building another generic payment gateway. We are building the operational layer between businesses and repayment.

The Role
We are looking for a Chief Product Officer (CPO) who understands payments deeply, executes relentlessly, and knows how to build in a founder-led environment.
This role is not for someone who wants to operate from a distance. The right candidate will work directly alongside the founder and leadership team to shape product strategy, prioritize aggressively, and drive execution across the company.
You will own product vision, roadmap, prioritization, and product organization leadership across the BlytzPay platform while partnering closely with Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Customer Success, and Revenue teams.
This is a high-impact executive role for someone who thrives in fast-moving fintech environments and understands that great product leadership is equal parts strategy, execution, and alignment.
What You'll Do
• Define and lead BlytzPay's product vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Own product direction across payments, collections, messaging, engagement, and platform infrastructure
• Partner directly with the founder and executive team on company strategy and product prioritization
• Collaborate closely with Engineering to improve execution, delivery accountability, and product quality
• Lead and scale a high-performing Product organization
• Work cross-functionally with Compliance, Risk, Finance, Sales, and Customer Success to align product decisions with operational realities
• Drive innovation across payment processing, repayment workflows, collections engagement, and merchant tooling
• Improve conversion, repayment performance, customer engagement, and operational efficiency across the platform
• Ensure products align with PCI, NACHA, sponsor bank, and payments compliance requirements
• Support strategic partnerships, enterprise customer growth, and go-to-market execution
What We're Looking For
• 10+ years of product leadership experience in debt, repayment, financial technology, payments, acquiring, lending, collections, or regulated SaaS
• Deep understanding of payment ecosystems including processors, gateways, ACH, sponsor banks, card networks, and modern payment infrastructure
• Proven experience operating in high-growth startup or scale-up environments
• Strong product instincts paired with operational discipline and execution focus
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing across Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Revenue
• Ability to balance long-term strategy with hands-on decision-making
• Comfortable operating in founder-led companies where speed, accountability, and adaptability matter
• High EQ, strong collaboration skills, and a low-ego leadership style are essential for success in this role
• Someone who values solving problems over protecting turf
Preferred Experience
• Experience with messaging-driven engagement platforms or text-based payments
• Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows and automation strategy
• Experience optimizing payment performance, conversion, and monetization
Why BlytzPay
This is an opportunity to help define the future of payments and collections in industries that have been underserved by modern fintech.
You'll work directly with the founder and executive leadership team to build products that materially improve how businesses recover revenue and how consumers experience repayment.
We move quickly, expect ownership, value clarity, and care deeply about execution. If you want to build meaningful products with a highly collaborative team, we'd love to talk.
