POSITION PURPOSE


Responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong professional relationships. Assist customers with credit card account information. Courteously and promptly resolve customer questions and problems or properly refers them to appropriate personnel. Completes related record, reports, and documentation. Complete miscellaneous functions and assist with other credit card responsibilities as needed.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Assumes responsibility for the accurate entry of credit card payments.
  • Receives daily mail.
  • Enters payments into computer accurately.
  • Is responsible for making sure that all payment batches are complete and in balance at end of every day.
  • Assumes responsibility for accurately changing address on accounts.
  • Receive address changes by mail and process according to credit card procedures.
  • Receive address changes by fax or by letter according to credit card procedures.
  • Assume responsibility for imaging and filing all documents pertaining to credit cards with accuracy.
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with Bank personnel and with management.
  • Assists Branches and related department as needed.
  • Keeps management informed of any significant problems.
  • Attends meetings as required.
  • Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
  • Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
  • Completes projects and miscellaneous functions as requested or required.
  • All other duties as assigned.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

  1. Customer service is accurate, prompt, and courteous.
  2. Files and imaging of documents is correct, current, and well maintained.
  3. Research and resolve customer problems politely and quickly.
  4. Effective working relations exist with Company personnel. Assistance is provided as needed.
  5. Management is appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems.

Educations/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent.

Required Knowledge: Strong Word and Excel skills needed. Able to master new computer programs

and systems. Accurate typing skills,

Knowledge of Windows XP. Able to use 10 key and telephone and other basic

business Equipment

Experience Required: Customer Service Experience

Skills/Abilities: Well organized

Good interpersonal and public relations skills

Cooperative and willing to assist others

Attentive to detail

Strong self-motivator



PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION

Repetitive Motion: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or

Physical Strength: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
