Location: Virtual - This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development.

Work Shift: Monday - Friday, 8 hours work shifts during EST, flexible start time between 6:00 am - 9:30 am (EST)


The Provider Payment Appeals Analyst I supports the Payment Dispute process across all lines of business and is specifically responsible for the resolution of Provider Payment Appeal requests.


How you will make an impact:

  • Reviews and analyzes provider requests to investigate the outcome of a Dispute.

  • Considers all information when determining whether to uphold or overturn primary decision.

  • Works with various departments including Provider Solutions and Health Plan Operations leadership when necessary, to determine root cause and appropriate resolution.

  • Must be able to review/reprocess claims to provide the appropriate solution.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a HS diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years of claims research and/or issue resolution or analysis of reimbursement methodologies within the health care industry; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.


Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Experience with NextGen, GBD Facets and CCERT is highly preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location, the pay* range for this specific position is $22.96/hr. to $34.44/hr.
