Addison Group is partnering with a well-established healthcare organization that is expanding due to recent growth and acquisitions. This team is known for its structured processes, collaborative environment, and strong focus on accuracy within revenue cycle operations.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Cash Receipt Analyst I to support daily payment processing activities in an onsite setting. This role is responsible for handling incoming deposits, ensuring proper allocation of funds, and maintaining accurate financial records within patient accounting systems. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and has prior experience working with healthcare payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and organize daily incoming payments from a lockbox system
  • Scan and distribute payment documentation to appropriate internal teams
  • Accurately post payments into accounting or EMR systems
  • Review and resolve unidentified or exception transactions
  • Maintain audit-ready records and tracking logs
  • Research and reconcile discrepancies or missing payment details
  • Communicate with internal departments and external payers to clarify payment information
  • Reallocate funds across accounts when necessary
  • Assist with corrections, adjustments, and special payment cases (e.g., returned or zero-dollar payments)
  • Support team operations and assist with additional administrative duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in cash application, payment posting, or healthcare billing
  • Experience working in high-volume, detail-driven environments
  • Knowledge of Epic or similar healthcare systems preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders

Additional Details:

  • Full-time, onsite position (5 days per week)
  • Flexible start time between 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM (8-hour shift required)
