We specialize in buying, selling, and pawning a wide range of items, including jewelry, electronics, firearms, tools, musical instruments, and more. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our team and contribute to our success.

Job Summary:
As a Sales Associate at Mega Pawn, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our pawn shop. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, managing sales transactions, evaluating and appraising items, and ensuring a positive and professional shopping experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and a keen eye for assessing the value of various items. No knowledge of the pawn business is required; if you’re an outgoing person we can teach you everything you need to know in order to become our next team member.

Responsibilities:

1. **Customer Service:**
   - Greet customers warmly and assist them in a friendly and professional manner.
   - Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and services.
   - Resolve customer concerns or issues promptly and effectively.

2. **Sales and Transactions:**
   - Assist customers in selecting merchandise and provide product knowledge.
   - Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
   - Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain an organized cash register.

3. **Item Appraisal and Evaluation:**
   - Assess the value of items brought in for pawn or sale.
   - Conduct research to determine fair market value for various products.
   - Negotiate prices with customers and explain appraisal decisions.

4. **Inventory Management:**
   - Assist in maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing sales floor.
   - Monitor and replenish inventory as needed.
   - Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.

5. **Compliance and Security:**
   - Adhere to all state and local regulations related to pawn transactions.
   - Follow security procedures to prevent theft and ensure a safe working environment.
