We are Archadeck Outdoor Living, the Denver area’s premier design and build firm specializing in outdoor living spaces (Decks, Pergolas, Paver Patios, Covered Porches). We are rapidly growing, and are looking to hire the right candidate as soon as possible, with work starting immediately.  
Qualifications for all Positions:
·        Provide excellent customer service and professionalism
·        Be on time and work hard (everything from demolition, moving lumber and digging holes to laying out, constructing complex structures and finish carpentry)
·        Be a part of cultivating a positive atmosphere and have a positive attitude
·        Be teachable and willing to ask questions
·        Be self-motivated and a good problem solver
·        Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
·        Be willing to work in the elements as all work is outside
·        Be organized
·        Be kind and respectful

LEAD Carpenter Qualifications:   $27 - $35 per hour PLUS benefits PLUS Hiring Bonus PLUS job based performance bonuses
·        Must have 5 years of related carpentry experience (2 years in outdoor living preferred)
·        Has excellent knowledge of how a house is built
·        Knows how to frame a roof (match soffit heights, figure custom rafters, set heights for wall and ridge beams, sidewall tie-ins, roof tie-ins, dry-in, flash and shingle)
·        Proficient knowledge of layout for holes, floor framing, install railings, install decking, frame/finish stairs
·        Able to read and understand plans, and communicate those plans to crew
·        Effective communicator with management, customers and other employees
·        Able to multitask, give directions and train new employees
·        Can maintain the right balance between quality and efficiency 
·        Working knowledge of the Residential Building Code (IRC/ICC) and how it applies to decks and roofs (patio covers) 
·        Qualified Lead Carpenter candidates are eligible to receive a $2000 hiring/retention bonus paid out after 180 days of employment
Carpenter Qualifications: $23 - $28 per hour PLUS benefits
·        Must have 2-5 years of related carpentry experience 
·        Have good knowledge of how a house is built
·        Understand the basics of framing, layout, etc.
·        Be willing to contribute to problem solving and helping the job move along 
·        Able to read and understand plans
·        Can maintain the right balance between quality and efficiency
·        Basic knowledge of the Residential Building Code (IRC/ICC) and how it applies to decks and roofs (patio covers)
·        Qualified Carpenter candidates are eligible to receive a $1500 hiring/retention bonus paid out after 180 days of employment
