Job Overview:
The Warehouse Associate at Pool City provides hands-on experience across multiple areas of the company, including warehouse operations, deliveries, and service support. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in logistics, inventory management, and customer service while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Warehouse Associates assist with stock management, merchandise transfers, deliveries, and installations, supporting both retail locations and customer homes.
Pay Range: $15.00 - $16.00 /Hourly
Compensation within range to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Responsibilities:
  • Unload trucks and organize merchandise on racking
  • Pick and prepare orders accurately using picking tickets
  • Load trucks and prepare shipments for delivery
  • Bar-code and bag non-factory packed merchandise
  • Assist with vendor returns, restocks, and transfers to retail locations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, vehicles, and equipment
  • Accompany Pool Delivery Drivers on residential and retail deliveries
  • Assist with deliveries of pools, furniture, grills, spas, and large equipment
  • Support Service Technicians on pool openings, closings, and safety cover installations
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and installations
  • Palletize merchandise for transport
  • Assist with end-of-day procedures and other ad-hoc warehouse tasks
  • Follow all safety protocols when handling merchandise and operating equipment
  • Support projects and initiatives that help improve warehouse efficiency
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, walk, and lift items up to 75 pounds; able to move heavier items with proper equipment
  • Basic computer, math, and counting skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods in varying temperatures, dust, and noise conditions
  • Excellent vision with or without corrective lenses for reading picking tickets and inventory documentation
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • Steel-toed work boots/shoes required
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
