Job description

SUMMARY:

The Surgical Assistant has the responsibility to provide indirect patient care under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse. He/she maintains patient safety during patient transport.

QUALIFICATIONS
  1. BCLS (within 30 days of employment)
  2. Has full command (verbal and written) of the English language.
  3. Possesses the physical ability and perceptive acuity, e.g., visual, hearing, to satisfactorily perform all functions. See physical activity evaluation form attached.
