A Patient Transport Assistant is responsible for safely moving patients within healthcare facilities, often assisting with transfers and ensuring patient comfort. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) provide basic patient care, such as bathing, feeding, and monitoring vital signs, and may have more clinical responsibilities. While CNAs may perform some transport-related tasks, transporters focus primarily on patient movement and logistics.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Patient Transport Assistant, and why are they important?
