Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously upon arrival at the healthcare facility.
- Collect, verify, and enter patient demographic and insurance information accurately into electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with clinical staff to optimize patient flow.
- Ensure compliance with privacy laws and healthcare regulations when handling patient information.
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and provide clear instructions regarding facility policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve registration issues.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records, including updating information as needed.
- Handle billing and insurance verification processes to facilitate timely reimbursement.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide support to enhance the overall patient experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a Patient Access Representative or Medical Registrar.
- Experience with specific EHR software such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare insurance processes.
- Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse patient population.
- Training in HIPAA compliance and healthcare privacy regulations.
