Patient Care Coordinator

Turpin Orthodontics is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our established Ruston/West Monroe/Monroe team. The best candidate for this role has strong attention to detail and a patient-centered mindset. If this sounds like you and you meet our qualifications below, we want to hear from you!

Schedule :

  • Full-time
  • Monday - Thursday from 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM
  • Fridays from 7:45 AM - 12:00 PM

Qualifications :

  • 6+ months of administrative experience in a dental or medical setting is highly preferred
  • Must be willing to travel to our Monroe, West Monroe, and Ruston locations on a weekly basis
  • Must have rockstar customer service skills
  • A warm and friendly personality to all patients and staff is required. We strive to "wow" our patients with our service and care

Job Duties :

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Greet patients when they arrive at the office
  • Schedule appointments for patients
  • Maintain patient accounts and records
  • Prepare and send patient bills
  • Submit patient claims to insurance companies
  • Assist patients in filling out required intake and medical forms
  • Confirm appointments with patients via phone or email
  • Manage and organize communication and reports with referring offices
  • Manage payment plans
  • Keep track of office supplies and place orders for more supplies when necessary
  • Perform basic accounting tasks such as taking patient payments and preparing billing statements
  • Verify and update patient insurance information
  • Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail
  • Ensure reception area is maintained and professional in appearance
