Join a dedicated healthcare team in the heart of the Midwest region, providing compassionate and expert nursing care across various departments. As a Float Pool Registered Nurse, you will deliver direct patient care by applying the nursing process with clinical competence and adhering to professional ethical standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to established safety protocols including infection prevention, safe patient handling, and critical lab notifications to ensure a secure care environment.
  • Maintain and care for central lines and prevent surgical site infections following policy guidelines.
  • Administer medications, perform nursing interventions, and provide patient and family education to support positive health outcomes.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to monitor status, enhance safety, and inform the healthcare team.
  • Document all patient care activities and quality monitoring data to support clinical decisions and compliance with quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and team members to improve patient outcomes and foster teamwork and accountability.

Education
