Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Telemetry

Location: Seneca, SC

Job Type: Contract

Shift: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Cardiac Telemetry assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring telemetry monitoring, observation services, and acute medical care. The ideal candidate will possess strong cardiac, telemetry, and acute care nursing experience.

Required Qualifications
  • Active South Carolina RN License Required

  • Current BLS Certification

  • Current ACLS Certification

  • Current NIHSS Certification

  • Minimum 1 Year of Recent Cardiac Telemetry Experience

  • Minimum 1 Year of EPIC Experience Required

  • First-Time Travelers Considered Based on Experience

  • Experience with Adult Acute Care Patients

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.

  • Monitor telemetry patients and identify cardiac rhythm changes.

  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely.

  • Coordinate patient testing, procedures, and specialty consultations.

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient-specific care plans.

  • Provide acute nursing care and patient monitoring.

  • Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR.

  • Float to similar units and nearby affiliated facilities as needed.

  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.

  • Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
